Parasound Hint 6 - Integrated Amplifier
A flagship stereo integrated amplifier combining a high-current power amp designed by John Curl, a reference-grade DAC, phono stage, and headphone amplifier in one chassis. Delivers 160W per channel into 8 ohms with dual-mono construction and a Burr Brown analog volume control for a purist, all-in-one two-channel system.
- Power amp topology designed by legendary engineer John Curl, high-bias Class A/AB operation
- ESS Sabre32 Reference DAC (ES9018K2M) with asynchronous USB supporting PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and native DSD64/128/256
- Built-in phono stage for MM, MC, and MI cartridges with switchable load impedance
- Dedicated high-current headphone amplifier (TI TPA6120)
- Analog bass management with high/low pass crossovers and home theater bypass input
- Direct amplifier input to bypass the preamp section entirely
- Burr Brown analog resistor ladder volume control with programmable turn-on level and favorite volume memory
- Dual-mono power supply and power amplifier with oversized shielded toroidal transformer
- 5 pairs RCA and 1 pair XLR balanced analog inputs, with balanced XLR and RCA preamp/subwoofer outputs
- Bass and treble controls with relay bypass from remote or front panel
- Back-lit remote control with discrete buttons
