Monitor Audio Platinum PL300 II - Floor Standing Speaker - Pair

A flagship floor-standing speaker standing over a meter tall, built to energize larger listening rooms with an enormous soundstage. Its four-driver system — twin 8" RDT II bass drivers, a 4" TLE-loaded midrange, and an MPD tweeter — captures the full tonal complexity and dynamic richness of a performance on an orchestral scale.

• MPD (Micro Pleated Diaphragm) high-frequency transducer designed specifically for Platinum II
• Patented DCF (Dynamic Coupling Filter) mechanism for more natural sound
• Underhung, edge-wound voice coils for greater efficiency and reduced distortion
• Bolt-through drivers for clearer sound and cleaner aesthetics
• Anti-Resonance Composite (ARC) midrange housings and baffle components reduce cabinet vibration
• TLE (Tapered Line Enclosure) sealed internal enclosure for midrange accuracy
• Hand-upholstered front baffle in genuine Inglestone leather
• Finish options: Santos Rosewood or Ebony wood veneer with gloss piano lacquer, or Piano Black gloss lacquer
