Anthem STR Power - Power Amplifier

The STR Power Amplifier is the two-channel powerhouse of Anthem's STR Series, designed, engineered, and crafted in Canada with a proprietary cascoded complementary feedback input stage and sixteen bipolar output devices per channel. It delivers 400W into 8Ω, 600W into 4Ω, and 800W into 2Ω, all continuous with both channels driven, backed by dual massive toroidal transformers and Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) protection.

• 400W/600W/800W into 8/4/2 ohms
• Cascoded complementary feedback input stage with hand-selected, matched transistors
• Sixteen bipolar output devices per channel in Class AB configuration
• Dual mono design
• Massive toroidal transformers, one per channel
• Soft turn-on to reduce power line transients and in-rush current
• Four power on/off options, including trigger and audio signal sensing
• No rail fuses; amplifier sections direct-connected to the power supply capacitor bank
• Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) technology, not in the signal path
• Graphic front panel display for power meter, status, and setup navigation
• Custom-designed oversized five-way binding posts, insulated and colour-coded
• Available in Silver and Black finishes
• Crafted in Canada
