Anthem MCA 225 GEN 2 - 2 Channel Power Amplifier

The MCA 225 GEN 2 is a 2-channel power amplifier from Anthem's completely redesigned MCA GEN 2 series, engineered and crafted in Canada for lower THD, lower noise, and higher current output into demanding loads. It's built around a custom low-noise toroidal transformer, high-current bipolar output transistors, and Anthem's next-generation Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) technology, with a cosmetic design that matches the AVM 70 and AVM 90 processors.

• Lower THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) for cleaner, purer sound and lower noise
• Completely redesigned circuit path for improved audio performance and reliability
• Higher current output for lower distortion
• Cosmetic match for AVM 70 and AVM 90 A/V pre-amplifier/processors
• Custom low-noise, high-power toroidal transformer
• High-current bipolar output transistors, high-quality filter capacitors, advanced power supply regulators
• Oversized aluminum heatsinks and custom-designed dual binding posts
• Patented auto-on/off circuitry
• Next-generation Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) technology, not in the signal path, with front panel status LED
• Rackmount kit (sold separately)

• Channels: 2
• Signal-to-noise ratio: 120dB
• Output devices: 8 bipolar output devices per channel
• Standby power consumption: less than 2W
• Construction: Crafted in Canada
