Inspired by the iconic gilded interiors of Paris's Opéra Garnier, this edition features the Paris Opera logo and gold leaf side plates hand-adorned by Ateliers Gohard, who also restores the gold of the Opéra Garnier. A lower gloss-percentage paint has been selected to bring beautiful, matte depth to the white body surrounding the gold panels.

From the very first Devialet Phantom, we knew the answer lay in a sphere. The ultimate shape for flawless diffusion and unrestrained performance, and the key to a truly radical speaker. Many relentless refinements later, we achieved a breakthrough fusion of acoustics and aesthetics, creating an object as powerful as it is mesmerizing.

Height: Position between 45 and 90 cm off the ground to maximize impact. Wall Distance: Leave at least 30 cm between the speaker and the wall, allowing bass frequencies to reflect naturally and enhance depth. Keep the area in front of your speaker(s) clear to ensure unobstructed sound propagation. For optimal listening, place the speaker between 1.5 and 2.5 meters from your seating area. In a stereo set-up, position both speakers 1.5 to 2.5 meters apart and angle them 25 to 30° inward to create a vivid, true-to-life soundstage.

These recommendations can and should be fine-tuned based on your space, the number of listeners, and your personal preferences. Because with Devialet Phantom Ultimate, sound is always personal.
